Tewkesbury plays host to
WILKO JOHNSON

On September the 19th 1997 I went to the Roses Theatre, Tewkesbury where I saw WILKO JOHNSON (who used to be in a band called DR. FEELGOOD and then for a time IAN DURY's band). I was amazed when WILKO JOHNSON kept playing with the same guitar even when his guitar strings broke.

The full line-up was:-

• WILKO JOHNSON - Vocals / Guitar
• NORMAN WATT-ROY - Vocals / Bass
• SALVATORE RAMUNDO - Drums

This concert was OK but as I did not know any of his stuff it is very hard to say much about it.
